What's different about the set-up at Humberstone Heights ?

Humberstone Heights Golf has three different - and separate- elements that you need to be aware of.

The Course

Leicester City Council own the Course. Green fees are payable to them by direct debit through an Active Leicester Membership or via 'pay and play' at the Pro Shop.

The Club

The Club deals with Handicaps, Competitions and Social affairs. When you join the Club, you must still deal with green fees separately.

The Club and our members are affiliated with the LRGU, the County Union and participate in many County events

The Pro Shop and Driving Range

The Pro shop and range are run separately from the Club by lead P..G.A. Professional Dave Butler and his team.

In addition to stocking everything you might need, they also provide lessons, and golf club repairs . The shop also collect Green Fees, as above , and co-ordinate day-to-day Course management issues with L.C.C

They are also the first port of call for Society inquiries .

So how does all that work ?

Membership of Active Leicester only gives access to the Course, which means that you can join Active Leicester and have a Season Ticket, but that will not include Golf Club Membership

Non-members are, of course, welcome to use the bar for food and drink. The Club operate that service.

Membership of Humberstone Heights Golf Club gives access to the Competition and Social side, but it does not cover green fees. You still need to book and pay those either through the Council's website or in the Pro Shop

The joining process is currently separate.

internal note pre-publishing A form to join the Club will be set up for auto filling as well as a download copy
